A few weeks ago we visited our new favourite climbing haunt – Harrismith. A number of windy mountain crags litter the landscape, waiting to be conquered. Here was where I learnt the necessary rigging to attempt to shoot climbers on a more personal level.

Being up on the cliff face at the same time as the climber you are shooting, allows for photographs on a far more personal level. Every moment of the subject’s battle to the top can be captured and shared.
